Adventures in Space
Author: Simon Tyler
This is such a fantastic book. First of all, it is large and comes in a hard back so it would make a good gift. Inside it is jam packed with information, but it has been set out in a way that is not overwhelming. Images are colourful and informative. We adore this book!!

I Want to Be in a Scary Story
Author: Sean Taylor Illustrator: Jean Jullien
This book is sooooo much fun and my family loved every minute of it. The book reads as if you, the reader, are the narrator and Little Monster is talking to you. The Little Monster is very amusing. He wants to be in a scary story but it would seem he is scared of everything.
The images are bright and colourful - perfect book for this time of year!!

Dave the Lonely Monster
Author: Anna Kemp Illustrator: Sara Ogilvie
This is a really lovely book. It actually reminds me of something by Julia Donaldson, although it isn't written by her. In fact, it is written by Anna Kemp. I love that it is written in rhyme. The storyline is about how Dave,  who isn't a beast but a lonely monster, and is just looking for friendship. The book teaches us not to judge a book by its cover.
The illustration are great and by Sara Ogilvie, who illustrated the Detective Dog, which is a book we love. Overall, big thumbs up from us!!

Forgotten Beasts
Author: Matt Sewell
What an utterly delightful&  stunningly beautiful book!

I can not stress just how beautifully illustrated it is. It features animals that have been forgotten such as the megalodon and zygolophodn. This hardback book is a stunning book and we are so proud & happy to have it in our collection.
