What is poo? Does everyone do it? And where does it all go? Children can lift the flaps to find the answers in this surprisingly charming book, and discover how much poo an elephant does, and what you can do with poo... There's even a Who did these poos? quiz. A very informative little book!

A wonderful book which followed in well from the dinosaur who pooped a planet. The children aged 2-3 loved finding out about different poos from humans to
Animals. A couple loved finding out where the poo went after the toilet and went home chatting about poos, which parents loved and some even went out and brought the book.

What a great book!

Our son struggles with toilet issues due to having Autism. It was great to find a book that he engaged with and actually sat down to read!

The book is very tastefully done and all of the illustrations are great. The lift the flap elements are brilliant and this book is definitely worth the purchase!

Great representation of what happens when you flush the loo and even I was amazed at some of the animal facts

The book tells you all about human to animal poo; the different types of poo and what happens after a poo. It really appealled to my three year old daughter.

This is a great book for little ones to understand more about poo. It is not something you often discuss but this lift-the-flap book gives a fun and educational way to talk about poo. It explains what poo is made of, lists different types of poo and even explores animal poo. A really well illustrated book with simple language making it easy for little ones to follow. We would definitely recommend this book.

They really enjoyed it and were shocked at some of the facts - learnt a lot! The illustrations were lovely too and really kept the children's interest

This book is amazing. It’s a board book with plenty of flips to lift up and suitable for a wide age range. The is all about poo that comes from a range of mammals, why we poo, why ooo is good etc.
The children love it and whilst it is educational it is also funny. A favourite in our house

What an amazing book is "What is Poo?"
My 6 year old and 4 year old were completely amazed to recive it through the post and sat down to read it together straight away.
They loved the colours, illistrations, easy to read wording (for the 6yo) and all the intresting facts about poo where it comes from where it goes and what different poos looks like.
My 4yo loved lifting the flaps and finding out the facts (expecially about whale poo being pink).
We have read this book nearly everday after school or at bed time and love it.
I am truly greatful to Toppsta for picking us to win the competition thank you so much.

Both myself and two children who are 4 and 6 loved this book. Did you know that Blue whale poo is PINK!!!! Nor did I. This was a fantastic fact that both of my children couldn't wait to get to school to everyone.
This book was beautifully illustrated, colourful and full of details. We enjoyed looking and talking about the pictures just as much as reading the book.
The lift flaps were nice and thick so less likely to be damaged from little fingers excited to find out what was underneath.
Poo is always a fun subject to cover and this book made us laugh as well as educating about poo. It was fab that the children now know that everyone poo's from Princesses, insects and bats.
The book was informative and followed through (please excuse the pun lol) the entire process, from eating to pooping and where it goes and what it can be used for.
My 4 year old loved the different animals, and was excited to find out about different shapes, smells and colours of poo.
All in all this book was fantastic informative and super fun. We felt as if it ended a little abruptly, but that may have been because we ha been enjoying the subject so much.
This would be super to use along side potty training, and super fun for early learners in the first few years of school.

My son age 5 and daughter age 3 both love the Usborne lift the flap books and this is no different. The illustrations are great and lots of fun interesting facts about poo! We saw some rabbit poo the other day and it made my son laugh now knowing that rabbits eat their own poo!

This is a brilliant book, we all learned something about poo from it! The book is a really informative and hilarious look at poo, from why we poo to all the different sorts of poo that animals do. Does everyone poo? Where does poo go? What can you do with poo? There are lots of lift the flaps, with more information available under each flap. It's a great introduction to non-fiction for very young children as it's a funny topic and a fun book to use. I had no idea that blue whale poo is pink. It's also great for young children who are a bit unsure about pooing on the potty or toilet as it explains why we poo and what happens to the poo afterwards.

Well, my children love this book. It's informative, well illustrated, has lots of lovely flaps to lift and look under and is all about 'poo'. Who know that this subject was so interesting? It actually has been a great book to share as it is very simple to understand and highlights the benefits of dung from a variety of animals, rather than lots of yucky facts. Our favourite is that a wombat's poo is square shaped!

This arrived yesterday and I've lost count of how many times we've read it - Jess (age 3) loves it!  She's even taken to sitting in the corner with her toys and 'reading' it to them - she particularly loves telling them that even princesses and footballers poo.
Despite the title it's not an 'ugh-y' book, but quite informative.  Who knew that wombats' poo is square?  Or that hippos spray theirs?  And it started an interesting family conversation about the colour of cow poo!
We have had a couple of loud public conversations about poo - but there's not much new there!

It provides information about how poop is formed and what it looks like from different animals and where it goes and how it is used (e.g. some gets eaten, some becomes fertilizer). The information is a little bit packed for such a small book. I also wish there was a little storyline behind it. Illustrations were cute and quite realistic.

My 4 year old son really has a potty sense of humour and this book was right up his street! Informative and fun! The negatives are there are sometimes too many flaps to open and they are rather stiff and fiddly for little fingers. The content and flow of the book is great and I recommend it!
