This story about a sleepy rabbit is the perfect bedtime story. It's quite short which is great for smaller children and we really enjoyed the story. My toddler enjoyed looking through the book to find things for herself.

Rabbits Nap is a lovely short story about a sleepy rabbit. This book is great and Ivy and I love to read it together. Ivy (aged3) especially loves to see what is behind each flap on every page and giggles when we open them. I like that the words in the book rhyme and there are lots of different characters doing different things on each page. This book is nice and short which is great to read before nap times and we read this along with another at bedtime.

We love the pictures and the lift the flap aspect. The story is easy to follow and isn't too long so keeps the attention span of an easily distracted toddler!

The illustrations are easy to identify and my 2 year old is able to explain what is happening in each scene.

Lovely story and fun to read.

This was my son's favourite book from when he was aged 1 to 2. He still enjoys it and loves the rhyme. It is a simple tale of a tired rabbit trying to find somewhere suitable to peacefully get a chance to nap. The illustrations are colourful and appealing to children. Very early on my son would join in with trying to read it back to me and clearly loved everything about it. All the acorn wood books are a hit with my children, but this is the favourite.

My daughter loves lift the flap books, and she has had this book out from the library a few times. We also have a couple of the other books from this series. We enjoy Julia Donaldson books, and this one is no different. This one is aimed at younger children, up to 4years. Rabbit can't have her nap, as her friends outside are being noisy. My daughter loves getting involved and lifting the flaps to see which animal is under there. We like the rhyming and the illustrations are lovely.

My little boy absolutely loved this book. It's the first book I've read to him where he has listened to the whole story. He is 20 months and normally just likes the pictures. Is a lovely story about the different places the rabbit can have a nap and the lift the flap parts are great too.

We already have 2 of the Acorn Wood series and Georgie loves them so she was instantly drawn to this book at the garden centre.
She loves to lift the flaps and see what is there and quickly remembers the rhyming words and completes the sentences for me.
I like this book as I can relate to it - how I would love to nap and how there is always something that prevents it from happening!

This story is a lovely adventure, great for engaging my little one in the characters and sounds and the flaps are fun and add a sense of anticipation. The rhyming helps with prediction and sound awareness. A super addition to any library for one year olds.

Rabbit's Nap 9781447273417

This is one of our favourite pop up books, the rhyming words are easy to read to keep little ones entertained and the story is nice. We love Alex's illustration, there's always lots to look at. Best of all the flaps are really well designed so they are quite hard to rip, all of ours have remained in place despite going through two toddlers.

A great book for a toddler. The rabbit is looking for somewhere to have nap but couldn't find anywhere quiet. Then finally the rabbit goes to sleep in this bed. My little girl loved this book, probably because I renamed the rabbit with Boo Boo which is the name of her teddy rabbit.

Rabbit's Nap 9781447273417

This has been a popular read in our home for some time now and I would highly recommend. The sturdy hardback is filled with gorgeous illustrations, lift the flaps and a lovely rhyming text keeping young ones wanting it read again and again. Rabbit really wants a nap but each time she attempts to sleep something disturbs her. Her friends come to her rescue at the end though and she falls asleeps happily. My eldest received this when she was a few months old. She is three now and still loves it as does my 9 month old baby girl. A lovely read that my little ladies adore.

Rabbit's Nap 9781447273417

We bought this book for our 2 year old nephew, but actually my 5 year old son loved to have a sneak ready before we wrapped up the gift! My son is a big fan of the Julia Donaldson/Axel Scheffler lift the flap books and really enjoys the anticipation of what is behind the flap.

Rabbit really wants to get some sleep, but everybody else around her is making noise! Another reviewer said that she could relate well to rabbit always trying to get a bit of sleep but without success and I agree! Instead of my household singing me a lullaby at the end of the book like rabbit's household, I think they'd be marching in with requests for toast and butter, help with personal hygiene after going to the loo, distraught tears following the loss of a favourite toy, or anger at their lego creation being trashed by their brother!

Lovely gift for toddlers.

This another great book from the series. Odin loves to pick up the flaps and hear about how rabbit is having her nap sabotaged, until they sing her to sleep.

Another nice Tale from Acorn Wood, though not my favourite. I don't find the rhymes scan as well as the other books. However my daughter still loves it and the illustrations are gorgeous. She especially loves looking under the quilt on the last page and joining in with sounds as rabbit tries to nap on each page.

Rabbit's Nap 9781447273417

Rabbit's Nap follows the story of a little rabbit that is desperate to go to bed and have a sleep but everywhere she goes there is something preventing her from sleeping.  My daughter loves to lift-the-flaps and see what's happening.  Some of the flaps are a little small.  The words are lovely and lyrical and I enjoy reading it to her.

Nice little book with a good flow like all Julia Donaldson's books. My daughter loves the book and wants to read it over and over again. Some of the flaps are a bit hard for her to lift up though.
