This is a heartwarming book about family life and the need for your own space. The illustrations are lovely and the story is simple and easy to follow. My 4 year old enjoyed listening to it and talking about how it feels to have a new baby in the house. It is not a book that you would read every day but is a good once in a while read.

This book was a good book for a quick read and bedtime story. It was a nice book about a family and it was nice that he got the bedroom and not the baby. It has a good moral to the story.

This was a cute book about Elliot who's had enough of sharing a room with his little sister and is fed up that a new room is being carved out of the family tree for his new baby brother.  He's at an age where he wants his own space.  Luckily he gets it, as the new room is for him and not the baby.  Lucas enjoyed this as he often likes his own space and the illustrations were cute.  He especially liked the stickers that came with the book too!  I don't think it's a book you could read over and over again but it's a nice tale of everyday life that children could easily relate to their own lives and experiences.

Sweet book about life within an expanding family. Elliot has had enough of sharing a room with his little sister, and is annoyed to see a new room being carved out of the tree for the new baby. He goes off and spends some (important) time by himself..... only to find late that the new room is actually for him. My daughter is an only child, so its a nice way of explaining some of the pros / cons of having siblings and discussing different types of families. Excellent for a young child where a new addition is pending.... but I think it had limited scope to become a "regular read" hence the rating.
