Book pages Say Hi to Hedgehogs!
Say Hi to Hedgehogs!
I read it to Little One aged 4 & to Baby aged 2
This gorgeously illustrated read is a story book combined with factual information on all things hedgehogs. It’s a book that caters well for both my girlies and one that has been well received. It’s also a book that gently informs young readers of the number of hedgehogs dwindling and what we can practically do to help our little spiky friends.
Highly recommend.

Book pages The Rabbit Problem
The Rabbit Problem
I read it (an adult) & to Little One aged 4
If you have a little one curious about time and the months of the year this is such a great pick. The Rabbits Problem tells stories of a rabbit family through the format of a calendar. There is so much to observe, flaps and books within the book to look at and the illustrations are brilliant! It’s a rather entertaining, delightful book which we hadn’t seen before but glad we spotted it at our local library.

Book pages The Right One
The Right One
I read it to Little One aged 4
This book is all about a young ghost who wants to try a different look. He’s a little tired of the white sheet so attempts to add a little colour into his appearance. His family don’t approve but that doesn’t stop this little ghost. If you’re looking for a halloween read that isn’t scary this is a great pick.

Book pages Tales from Acorn Wood: Friends
Tales from Acorn Wood: Friends
I read it to Little One aged 4 & to Baby aged 2
My two daughters have enjoyed this series of books since they were younger. My eldest knows many of the books by heart and my youngest absolutely adores the different characters.
Friends is a collection of illustrations from the previous books, explaining to young readers about the friendships the different characters have. There isn’t a story as such.
Admittedly I was expecting a story of some sort about the different animal
characters however, my youngest daughter really liked the book as all the characters are familiar to her.
The book doesn’t have lift the flaps like others in the series but it is full the brim within a Scheffler’s fantastic illustrations.
