I read it to Explorer aged 4 to 5
A lovely book about a little boy called Tom who wants an adventure. One night some pirates come to his house. But they are not jsut any old pirates, they are girl pirates! They welcome Tom aboard and set sail, off to find the treasure.

Book pages Stellaluna
Stellaluna
I read it to RosaRoo aged 10 & to LydiaLou aged 4
This book was recommended by a friend and at first when it arrived I was initially disappointed with the illustrations. They are very 'real' and quite dark. But as we read the book, the story is so beautiful and enchanting, the pictures blend in so well. The story is of Little Stellaluna who gets lost from her Mother Bat (quite emotional part of the story) but then, luckily finds some birds to live with. As a bat, she has to fit in with the birds, eating bugs and sleeping the correct way up. The ending is fantastic too. Definitely 5 stars.

A bright, colourful book that tells a moral story of being kind to others in a fun way. My daughter was a little apprehensive at first, but as the story developed she laughed and laughed at Alan!

A lovely book about the naughty seagulls stealing food from the light house keeper. The children in my class thought the trick sandwiches were very funny.
