Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the park . . .

Timothy Pope is blown this way and that way in the windy park -- but among the whistling wind and blustering brollies could that be a shark he spies through his telescope. Peep through the die-cut hole in the pages of the book to find out.

A third book in the bestselling Shark in the Park series -- it's fin-tastic fun!

We really enjoyed reading this fun adventure book. Having read the first book in the series we were already familiar with Timothy Pope and his adventures with his dad at the park. In this story Timothy and his dad are back at the park with the telescope. Timothy looks through it and sees something that again looks like a Shark in the Park. Could it be that this time there really is a Shark in the Park? The rhyming text and fantastic illustrations make this a really great book. The peek-through sections on each double page are brilliant and they add an interactive element to the story.

Ever since he was a baby, Leo has loved being read books by Nick Sharratt, one of the first being Shark in the Park. Since then we've also come across Shark in the Dark and Shark in the Park on a Windy Day. He loves being 'blown about' by the wind and making a telescope with his hand as we read through the story, and of course we can't forget the shark! He loves the spy holes in the pages as you discover whether or not it's really a shark. He still enjoys making the 'dun dun... dun dun' effect at the end when we find the shark.
