A boy called George had a breathtaking thought,
that giants might really exist . . .

When George plants a jellybean in his garden it grows into an enormous beanstalk and George is sure there must be a friendly giant at the top. As he climbs bravely up the beanstalk, higher and higher, George encounters a magical pixie, a stinky troll and gets stuck in a very sticky web . . .

Combining a classic fairytale story with fun rhyming text and silly humour, Jellybeans for Giants is the perfect picture book fun for children aged 3 years and up.

This was a fun twist on the Jack and the Beanstalk story. George and his dog want to find the Giant and with the help of jellybeans and he grows a beanstalk and climbs to find the Giant.

The pictures are colourful. We spent a lot of time looking at the Troll. The text rhymes and is clear to read.

A delightful story.

This is a great rhyming book, with really fun illustrations. George plants a jellybean and it turns into a beanstalk, so he packs some sweets and sets off in search of the giant with his dog Trixie. On the way up, they run into a pixie, a troll and more. A really fun story that my little boy enjoyed.

The children seem still as fond of picture books now as when they were younger, so i was delighted they both really enjoyed this interesting reimagining of Jack and the Beanstalk. George wants to find a giant, so plants his jellybeans. They turn into a beanstalk which he climbs. He finds many more interesting creatures besides on his adventure. A lovely rhyming story book full of colourful illustrations. They quite liked the look of the other ones in the series too!

A book about a boy called George who plants some Jelly Bean sweets and to his surprise it grows into a beanstalk. George climbs the beanstalk and has lots of adventures. He meets a giant and finds very strange things growing out of the bean pods. It's a fun book and my boy enjoyed the ending and thought the pictures where nice.
