I read it to GCR13 aged 2 aged 2

Georgie loves asking different people to read this book to her as she enjoys asking them to put their fingers in the holes in the pages and then watching their reactions as they turn the page!
It is an easy introduction to rhyme and play on words, and she likes making up other rhymes with different names.
It is a bright and colourful book with fun illustrations.

My daughter thought this book was really funny and she was laughing out loud at the silly rhymes and she liked in included names with each rhyme, as she knew people with some of the names. She thought it was great that you could put your finger in a hole on each page, and on the page behind it would look like some kind of creature had trapped her finger. The illustrations were eye catching, colourful and bright and it was a simple book with short sentences, a great length for toddlers. Its a really fun, silly book that all little ones will enjoy

A bright and colourful book which uses real photographs in the illustrations. My daughter loves putting her finger through the cut out to find what might be eating it on the other side. Lots of funny rhymes and made up 'monsters'. We had fun making up rhymes for all her friends' names too.

My son ask to but this at his school book fair, and he has read it lots of times since!  It's a fun book, with a hole on each page for the child to put their finger through.  The appealing rhyme makes it fun to read at bedtime, and my year R son can read it to himself.  Great for a boy or a girl.

Fab short rhyming book which had the children engaged from the beginning. They took turns at poking their finger through each page laughing at page.
Great for introducing rhyming words/ sentences

My daughter picked this book down to its cover. At 5 I think maybe the book was slightly to young for her. It was fun and very interactive book for us to enjoy together. We were laughing out loud at the pages and she loved putting her fingers through the pages. Brilliant illustrations and rhythms.
