The captivating prequel to the award-winning bestseller, Ginger.

A little, hungry ginger cat lives on his own in a patch of weeds at the bottom of a garden, spending all day looking for food in dustbins and drinking from puddles ... until one day, the little cat comes back to find something - and someone - waiting for him.

A lovely story of a little girl looking after a stray cat. The children were very empathetic towards the cat and all said they would do the same. i wonder how many parents would too?

Ginger the cat has not home and scavenges in the dustbins and sleeps in the grass. Then one day Ginger finds some food waiting for him, and the next day.... And then a little girl who takes him home. The story then continues about the bond that develops between them. It's a great story that my kids love and has a great message about kindness.

Really lovely book.

My children both really enjoyed this endearing book.

Very soft read which gets children thinking and asking questions.

Easily spent 15 mins after we had read the book answering my child's questions which was great to see. It made her stop and question which means sees took it all in and learnt a lot.

Two lovely characters, children can connect with.

Highly recommend.
