Uncover the ridiculously funny life of teachers (and some things that have nothing to do with teachers but are still splendidly funny) according to James Campbell, comedian extraordinaire. Ever wondered what teachers do when they're not in the classroom? Are they undercover detectives, champion roller-blade dancers or do they spend their evenings playing with their 576 cats?

This face-achingly funny book will also teach you why you should carry an emergency banana with you at all times, how to fart in class silently without anyone knowing it was you and how to catapult yourself to school by building a medieval style catapult in your back garden!

Whether you love or loathe your teachers, want to become one when you grow up or don't give two figs about your teacher but simply love a HILARIOUS read, this book is for you. Prepare to roll around the floor laughing with the snot-inducingly brilliant The Funny Life of Teachers.

But be warned - this is NOT a normal book. You can read it forwards, backwards, sideways and in approximately 861,000 different ways in between. Whichever way you read it, look no further for fantastic real-life teacher facts, incredibly funny illustrations, imaginary stories and an impossibly silly read!

This book was incredibly funny, you laugh out loud reading this book. It made me want to read bit out loud to my family. The illustrations are funny and I really liked the map of the school. I really enjoyed this book and read it quickly. My favourite was "Who has taken all of the felt?" Everyone should read this book, it's really funny!!!

I really like this book. I found it really funny and the pictures went really well with the writing.
My favourite chapter was probably ' Who has taken all the felt' because it was really funny and I like the idea of a monster made of felt.
I also think the book is good because you can just flick to a random page and read it, because it is like a funny tip book.
I like how this is actually, maybe, what teachers do!

This book was really funny it made the whole family laugh. Would recommend this book to anyone school age and above. It was a really enjoyable read. It is about school life in general. It does not have to be read in any particular order. It is a good book to read aloud.

I really liked this book it was funny to see the teachers side of things. I found it funny to read and really liked that I could pick which story I wanted to read rather than having to read the book in order.

I found it a little like reading World's Worst Children as each chapter is a different story and I like that.

What I liked about this book was that I could flick through and start wherever i wanted to, and then flick to another section and read that! I didn't need to read cover to cover and it continued to make sense.  I thought it was funny, and I related to a lot of what I read about, and could really see my teachers being the ones in this book!! I especially liked the bit about how to fart without pooping yourself, it made me laugh out loud!! It covered so many aspects of school life.

I think this book would be suitable for 7+ primary school children!!

A hilarious book suitable for lower key stage two. As a teacher, parts of it resonate and I think children will find it really funny. It’s not all about teachers but school in general. Good writing, illustrations and funny stories make this a fun addition to a reading for pleasure bookshelf and I can see the short sections booking in more reluctant readers.n

We read this together and found it an quick, easy and fun read, however it is not really about teachers. It is a general books about the funny life of school - all the different things like dinner times, the staff room, recorders, lollipop ladies, the playground, class names, houses points .... and just a little about types of teachers.

I was really excited to get this book but I don't feel it met my expectations. I love the concept but I didn't find it overly funny and I wasn't quite sure of the target audience. Parts of it are very silly e.g. teachers weeing  when Ofsted calls. I don't feel I'd add this to my classroom reads which is a shame.
