Hilda and the Hidden People (US Edition)
Author: Luke Pearson Illustrator: Seaerra Miller
My daughter has been totally engrossed in this series of books since we were first introduced to them. This is great as there is more text than the other books which are more comic style. A great adventure about Hilda and the unusual world she lives in- trolls, giants, talking birds ........

Rowan the Red Squirrel
Author: Lynne Rickards Illustrator: Jon Mitchell
This was a Christmas gift as my daughter shares a name with the squirrel. It's a lovely illustrated story, with a good message about the dangers of going to far. My daughter really enjoyed the different things they encounter on the journey, and got completely caught in the encounter with the fox.

Georgia O'Keeffe
Author: Isabel Sanchez Vegara Illustrator: Erica Salcedo
This is a beautiful series of books. I like the way the books are laid out to suit both younger and older readers. My daughter really enjoyed leaning about her life, and seeing the photos at the end of the book. Will are definitely going to borrow more of this series from the library.

My daughter has just finished this book and absolutely loved it. She read it in the car, and kept stopping to tell us what had happened. The adventure element really captured her. A really beautiful book.
