The World's Worst Children 2
Author: David Walliams Illustrator: Tony Ross
A hilarious sequel to The World's Worst Children, featuring more awful boys and girls. There were lots of funny references for adults to pick up on and many more that had Leo laughing out loud. Tony Ross' illustrations in full colour are excellent and really brought the story to life.

Geronimo
Author: David Walliams Illustrator: Tony Ross
This is such a lovely story about a baby emperor penguin called Geronimo who dreams of flying. His dad informs him that penguins can't fly, but soon calls upon the other penguins to help his son to achieve his dream. Leo really enjoyed the story and all of the funny pictures of penguins.

Lego Movie 2 - Activity Book with Mini Figure
This is a great little activity book for young Lego fans. It features lots of interesting puzzles to solve and comics to read. The book includes a Rex Minifigure that you can build and use to help Emmet save the city from the Duplo invaders. It's packed full of Lego Movie 2 characters and colourful pictures that Leo really enjoyed. The puzzles were quite easy for him to solve. Also, it would have been better if it had included some stickers and if the writing wasn't all in uppercase letters.

Hubert Horatio: A Very Fishy Tale: World Book Day 2019
Author: Lauren Child
Leo loved reading this extraordinary exciting tale together. The story centers on an exceptionally intelligent, talented and sensible child called Hubert Horatio Bartle Bobton-Trent. He and his parents - Mr and Mrs Bobton-Trent, are out enjoying his first outing in a pram when it all starts to go wrong. Leo really liked the sketched illustrations and interesting text layout, it was just a shame that the story was a bit short. He would have liked to find out more about the irresponsible things Hubert's grown-ups got up to.

THE LEGO (R) MOVIE 2 (TM) Awesome Heroes
Authors: DK , Rosie Peet
This book is absolutely perfect for children that are learning to read by themselves. Featuring characters from the film such as Emmet, Lucy, Batman and Unikitty, it's packed full of exciting images and interesting information. The book, which is at Level 2 of DKs 4 Level reading scheme, uses large font, simple vocabulary and has a fun quiz at the end that Lego Movie fans will find fun and engaging.
