This Convertible is a fun storybook that can also be used as a playmat and a sit-in vehicle for toddlers.

Once unfolded, parent and child can read the text, which describes an action-packed rally race. The bright, busy illustrations are packed with colourful details along the race route. Laid on the floor, the book can also be used as a playmat. The boards can then be refolded into a large, sturdy race car that a child can sit in and pretend to to drive.

This was my sons alll time favourite book it is very interactive and can be converted into a car. There is a great use of colour. The kids got really excited and used their imagination. It wasn't a book suitable for before bed as it really excited them so was something we read during the day.

My 5 year old has absolutely loved this large book. The fact that it was a 3-in-1 worked really well as it has kept him entertained for long periods at a time. He really enjoys making it into a car - fills it up with cushions and his favourite teddies. My 11 year old and 8 yr old have even joined in with the interactive play! Race Car also converts to a play mat so a great chance to get all the toy cars out.

The book is well made and very robust - the amount of times it has been assembled and disassembled, I would have expected it to start falling apart but it hasn't at all. The only minor thing is that I haven't figured out how to assemble it back to a story book once its opened up. All in all a highly interactive, colourful book which will keep young children entertained for hours.

This is a top book after two weeks of not writing the review every single day the little one has played with it and he is still not bored. The book itself is very creative and has an innovative idea. It is a convertible car and also a race track as well as a book. Defiantly appealing to both my boys. The colours used and concept in the story is also beautifully set. Overall it was a very good book.

Oh this is amazing.its much larger than I realised, very impressive. Bold bright and great quality print. Certificate came seperately with prints with Sophie's name for registration plate for the car, beautiful touch. Also blank for Sophie to colour in herself and she put her teddy's name on. Hours on fun with this book and creating the car. Perfect toddler book/toy. Brilliant for her for independent play and together time. Love this so much. Would be great for parent and baby groups or birthday present.

This was a really great book, very good quality and brightly coloured. We enjoyed the story and had lots of fun with the playmat getting all the toy cars out to play but the best bit was making it into the car. Loved the windscreen to look out of and the door was great, my daughter spent a good while just getting in and out! It's easy to move about once made up into a car and folds away nice and flat to store it. I think it is a great toy and book for an older preschooler, though it may not withstand a younger child's rough play.

This book is amazing. My son absolutely loved it and took great pride in sitting in his very own convertible race car. It is a fantastic concept and a brilliantly interactive book. Not only can you turn the book into a race car you can also unfold it into a long and winding race track to put your own toy cars on. We had great fun reading the story as well. The book is sturdy and has some amazingly colourful illustrations. The language is simple and easy to read and this book would suit a variety of ages. There is plenty of room in the race car once it is made up and a side door for the child to climb out of. We really loved this book and have had lots of fun playing with it and in it.

This book is great, it's so much fun. My little boy loves it. It's great quality and it opens up into a playmat. So as you read the story about the race, you can drive your own cars along the track. Then it can also fold up into a sit in car, with an opening door. My little boy loved this and has been on lots of adventures. This book is built to last and will be used again and again. We loved it.

This is such a fantastic book and bigger than I had expected. Leo enjoyed reading through the story in book form and was amazed when it then laid flat as a playmat and converted into a race car for him to sit in. The pages are very sturdy with durable fabric connecting them. The car is simple to assemble with strong velcro tabs and Leo was quickly able to switch between the car and playmat as he wanted. There are lots of bright-coloured details that he enjoyed such as the switches and dials inside the car and he particularly loved the door that he could open and close getting in. The playmat offered lots of space either side for more than one child (or adult) to drive cars along. It's a brilliant book that children will enjoy hours of imaginative play with.

The picture of this book/car doesn't do it justice! It's a very different and interesting type of book, that changes and is built into an amazing race car, even with a windshield and a door. Hours of pretend play for my son. He loved it very much and asked me to also create a steering wheel for his car. Additionally the book can be just spread out to be a playmat so me and my son could race his cars to the finish line. The actual book has lots of details, so we talked about them while reading the book.

I was not sure what to expect with this book in terms of size, story content, and perhaps most importantly build quality - it was so unlike anything I had come across before. It didn't disappoint! The children (aged 4,3 and nearly 2) and I are all so impressed. I read the book to them initially without letting them know the surprise that was at the end. They listened attentively to the story as it developed, with its fantastic use of despriptive words and the narrative closely following the race cars around the track, building the excitement. They looked out for and pointed out all the landmarks described in the book, from the start line to the ambulance waiting, the boats watching, to the finish line. At which point, they were asked to decide if the car had won the race. They watched as I unfolded the book and started to Velcro various pieces together, a process which was perfectly simple and straightforward and soon they could see the finished result- their own car! I handed over a number plate which had been sent to us, personalised with my eldest son's name. He was so happy and recognised straight away what it was, before offering the two blank number plates to his siblings so that they could decorate and join in the fun. I was blown away by the quality and size of the car once built - the fact it can be (and has already been!) repeatedly turned from a book into a car with a door and windscreen is brilliant. It is a beautifully decorated and sturdy version of every child's favourite part about getting new toys - getting to sit in the box and pretend they're driving. They all loved the fact that they could brum their way to the finish line and win the race, creating their very own personal ending to the story, which they felt a part of from start to finish. And if that wasn't enough, once they had completed their "race" I lay out the book and the track slotted together to make the perfect play mat for their millions of tiny cars. 5 out of 5, for an imaginative, unique and captivating book and experience - quite literally, hours of fun.
