The Mighty Mince Pie Massacre
Author: Mark Lowery
This is the latest book in the series and it's just as funny as the rest of the series. I really enjoyed the story and it was great to have the gang back, I felt like I knew them well!

Magnus Chase and the Sword of Summer (Book 1)
Author: Rick Riordan
This action/adventure book is set in a different universe where horse mythology is real. Magnus discovers he is a demi-god and this is his story as he reclaims the sword. Magnus friends are great characters, they are demi-gods, elves and dwarfs, really well described that I feel I know them! This book is gripping, I wanted to read on to see what happened next.  About to start book two!

Supersaurs 3: Clash of the Tyrants
Author: Jay Jay Burridge
This is a good book that fits in well as the third book of the series. Lots of action, adventure and dinosaurs! There are new characters and returning characters from the previous two books, but you don't need to read the others first.
There is an all you can use while reading but I didn't use it. Looking forward to book 4

The Boy Who Flew
Author: Fleur Hitchcock
I really enjoyed this book,  I did feel that sometimes the author could have expanded the story more as I felt that not everything was told in the story. My favourite character was Mr Chen, the story is based around the flying machine he made. Mr Chen is really well described and is really smart.

Have Sword, Will Travel: Magic, Dragons and Knights
Authors: Garth Nix , Sean Williams
After a slow start to the book, the story became interesting and good, I really enjoyed following the characters and wanted to know what happened next! Odo, is the main character and is a hero, even though he doesn't want to be. He is very clever. I don't really like the book cover, it doesn't entice me to want to read.
