The third book in the New York Times bestselling Timmy Failure series is sure to have readers laughing out loud once again at the madcap escapades of Timmy and his polar bear sidekick, Total.

Perfect for fans of Wimpy Kid and Barry Loser, the third book in Stephan Pastis's bestselling Timmy Failure series sees Timmy striving for greatness once more - with unexpected consequences! Hilarious drawings add to the humour and make this book ideal for boys and girls aged 9+. Timmy's detective agency is on the verge of global domination. Global riches. Global fame. And yet the gods are throwing him curveballs: for starters, he's on a trial period at school and to keep his place he has to get good grades and really behave. The fabled Miracle report will be the key to his success. It's dirty business. It's best you know nothing. But one thing is for sure - Timmy Failure will be triumphant again!

I really like this book because Timmy writes stories about Garbanzo man.  My favourtie characters are Timmy and his pet polar bear sidekick Total.  I think this would appela to both boys and girls even though the front cover gave me the impression of a book for boys.  I would definitely read the other books in the series.

I have read another Timmy failure book which I really enjoyed, and this one I enjoyed just as much. It will appeal to both boys and girls. It's funny, interesting and engaging. I liked the black and white comic illustrations throughout the book, which broke the text up a bit. I like Timmy's character, but I really like his sidekick, Total the polar bear.

I have read several books in the Timmy Failure series and have enjoyed them all. These books feature Timmy who runs a detective agency with his partner Total who is a polar bear and also my favourite character. This books sees Timmy return to school. Another funny book with great pictures, i always recommend this series to people at school.

It took a little while for Owen to get into this book, but when he did he stuck with it and didn't want to put it down. He said it's a really funny book and he liked the random pictures throughout the story

Its the second Timmy Failure book I have read, personally I prefer the Wimpy Kids books but even so its a good second choice, I like the characters and found there were some funny bits.

Would read the other books in the series.

If you like the other Timmy Failure books then this one is just as good. I think the stories are a bit weird. The character Timmy is truly a bad detective and I think its funny how bad he is. Even though he thinks he is great. I like Total the polar bear as he is the most unlikely helper for a detective to have.

I didnt like this book.
It's not really got a good storyline and none of the characters were very nice.
It didnt make a lot of sense and I found it boring and struggle to read it through to the end - normally I can read a book in 3 days (around 1 and 1/2 hours) but this book took much longer not because of complicated story or text but because it didnt really make  me want to read it and it didnt make me care about the story or the characters.
The story centres around Timmy Failure a reallly weird boy who runs a detective agency with his imaginary partner - a polar bear called total. He seems to really hate loads of other kids and have no friends except for a single boy but all the other kids seem to like him even though he is weird and does odd things and is really mean to them.
He is at risk of being kicked out of school and is forced to work with someone he doesnt like to pass a project. His case is to find a missing project paper which got an amazing grade - he wants to get it to solve his case and to use it to cheat to pass the project.
Other people are looking for it for various reasons but there is no real detective work - it's just him acting odd and accidentally finding it.
I guess this book is probably better if your younger - it was too childish for me so maybe if your 7/8 it is better. I aalso think that maybe a boy would enjoy it more as the main character is a boy.
