Book pages The Koala Who Could
The Koala Who Could
I read it to CH12 aged 6 & to VH17 aged 2
We absolutely love everything that Rachel and Jim create and this is no exception.

The illustrations are vivid with so much to look at, the rhyming text so engaging, fun and wonderful to read  But best of all this story has such a brilliant message for young children about anxiety and worry, particularly when dealing with change and how wonderful things can be if you embrace them. We love it.

Book pages Blown Away
Blown Away
I read it to CH12 aged 6 & to VH17 aged 2
A beautiful and surprisingly funny picture book that we all absolutely love reading.

A story about what happens when polar animals end up in a jungle adventure and how they mastermind a way back home  with a very funny monkey surprise.

My children delighted in the funny stowaway surprise and at each polar animal that got caught up in the kite  I loved the rhyming text and the beautiful illustrations that made it such a delight to read. This is one of those books we've Birkett from the library that we will but our own copy of to keep.

Book pages Alfie in the Woods
Alfie in the Woods
I read it to VH17 aged 2
A simple little book about Alfies walk in the woods with his dad and the imaginative things that can be found.

The story is very simple with small bits of text on each double page but does include some lovely descriptive words prefect for small children to hear.

The illustrations are big and bold with muted autumn colours. It is a lovely simple autumn story book for babies and young toddlers but didn't really make a lasting impression with us
