Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
Author: J. K. Rowling
The first part of the Harry potter series is a brilliant story. I can quite happily listen to this audio book and have now listened to it more than 10 times as it is a favourite. I love Stephen frys storytelling and the way he can bring the story to life. Everyone should own the audio books for the days you don't feel like reading!

The Tales of Beedle the Bard
Author: J. K. Rowling Illustrator: J. K. Rowling
I was bought this book for my Birthday, and so far it is brilliant. I love the harry potter books and love that this tells you all the stories that the wizards learn as children. I like the notes from Dumbledoor. some of them are funny. This is a great book for anyone who wants to expand their Harry Potter knowledge.

Flamingo Boy
Author: Michael Morpurgo
I tried to get into this book but although it sounds interesting I found it difficult to get into. I have tried other books my Michael Morpurgo and find that they are not as gripping as the books I normally enjoy. I think I will try this one again and see if I can read it with my family as a friend told me its is a good book.

Eagle Strike
Author: Anthony Horowitz
This has to be the best Alex rider book so far. I love the narrator. There is lots of action and the story always surprises me with a twist I wasn't expecting. This book has lots of thrills and is very graphic so not good if you don't like a bit of blood.
