Great book! Full of magic, mystery, and adventure this is the second tale from the Badlands, following Jones, Ruby, and Thomas as they try and stop evil and uncover the mystery of the black amulet.

It took me a while to really get into this book, the progress was fairly slow, but once the initial introduction and the plot had started to develop I became more engaged. Suited more your younger readers in the age group of 10-14, so I recommend for Harry Potter fans or Percy Jackson fans.

An overall good book, lots of description and an engaging and imaginative plot.

Originally very confusing. It took me a while to really get into the book, and I think that was partly because I felt so baffled half the time. Overall, a great storyline and brilliant characters. A sweet book with a lot of positive moments. A great read for a rainy day. I recommend for Jacqueline Wilson fans, who I think will like Blue. I think it is very clever, with a lot of great imagination (you know with the whole imaginary friend thing ;)
