This is such a funny  book both my little girl  and I enjoyed reading  it  as I found it funny too.  The rhyming  used within the book  is great  for the  fundamentals of  beginning to read.  Towards the middle of the  book my little girl was joining in  with  the words which was great fun.

A very enjoyable read and an instant hit with my son. The book is funny which always goes down well with us both. He quickly started joining in as the book is very much about the rhyming words that it is built around. A useful tie-in to school work in Reception all about rhyming words. The illustrations are also great.

This book is so funny and always has my class laughing and making up their own rhymes like the ones in the book. We always use this book to teach children about rhyme and they are get so excited and engaged in it! It's one of my favourites and I look forward to teaching it and seeing what rhymes the children come up with! When it's time for the children to sit at their tables I say 'hares on chairs' and it makes them laugh :)

This book was perfect for my 5 year old early reading daughter. She quickly worked out the rhymes and started to guess what was coming which she really enjoyed. It's a silly but very funny 'story' narrating a conversation between the frog and a very bossy cat. It's ends with (spoiler alert) the frog being sat on by a big dog which my daughter found hilarious.

A hilarious and very clever rhyming story, 'Oi Frog' follows a conversation between a frog and a cat about where different animals should sit. Frog is all about comfort; cat is more concerned with 'doing the right thing'! When L gets bigger, I'm looking forward to discussing the different animals and highlighting the rhymes with her. For now, both Daddy and I absolutely love just reading this story and giggling away at the final page...! A must read

We have just got this book and it's an instant hit in our house. Jam packed with ridiculous rhymes it invites you to use silly voices when reading it much to my daughter's delight. I love that it introduces all sorts of animals - gophers, gibbons, pumas - and the imagery matches the silliness of the words. We will be reading this for a long time to come - even writing this reviewg has had the words popping into my head "- "weasels sit on easels, moles sit on poles"!
