The second instalment of The Worst Witch was enjoyed by my daughter just as much as the first!! Mildred is back to school and is asked to look after the new girl Enid who isn’t as innocent as her teachers seem to think! Poor Maud feels a little pushed out as Mildred is spending lots of time with Enid, but there is an important lesson in friendship at the end. We are already looking forward to the next instalment.

My daughter is seven and has absolutely loved the first book in the Worst Witch series. We are introduced to Mildred who is trying her very best to be a great witch but hasn’t quite got the hang of it. She loved the bit where Mildred got her spell mixed up! But for all her mishaps Mildred proves her worth as a witch in the end. We have moved straight onto the next book in the series - she can’t wait to see what happens to Mildred and her friends next
