My kids loved this story. It's a lovely bedtime story with a lovely message. My 2 year old loves the pictures and the train noises.

Paddington and the Christmas Surprise
Author: Michael Bond Illustrator: R. W. Alley
I was a little disappointed with this book, my daughter was excited to read it after watching the films but she didn't particularly enjoy it. Compared to other childrens books it felt a bit slow, it's quite wordy and not so easy for my 5 year old to follow.

Chicken Licken
Author: Mara Alperin Illustrator: Nick East
My 5 year old loved this story, it's very catchy so she could join in towards the end. The story is as I remember from when I was young but it was nice and simple for young ones. It's got great illustrations that my toddler enjoyed.

You're Called What?
Author: Kes Gray Illustrator: Nikki Dyson
My daughter found this book hilarious,it's full of animals with silly names so lots of giggles. I found it slightly tedious to read as every page ends with the same sentence. There's a lovely page at the end with pictures and facts about the real animals which we enjoyed looking at together
