    Laura Ellen Anderson Biography
    Laura Ellen Anderson is a British author and illustrator who has just published the second book in her new series, Amelia Fang, who she describes as a modern day Wednesday Adams from the Adams Family. Laura has illustrated many children's books including The Witch Wars series, Evil Emperor Penguin and 21 cover illustrations for the relaunch of The Famous Five books to celebrate Enid Blyton's 75th Anniversary. Laura has also worked with CBeebies presenter and author Cerrie Burnell illustrating her Harper series of stories.

    Born in 1988, Laura graduated with a first class degree in illustration before working at an illustration agency and then numerous book publishers in the UK and USA. Her first book as author and illustrator, I Don't Want Curly Hair, was published in March 2017.

    Laura is the first female illustrator to have designed a Terry Pratchett book, covering the new editions of his Tiffany Aching series.

    In her spare time, Laura loves making 3D models of her book characters.
