The Amelia Fang Series

Meet Amelia Fang - a little vampire with a big heart!

Amelia lives with her parents Count Drake and Countess Frivoleeta, and her pet pumpkin Squashy, in Nocturnia - a city in the Kingdom of the Dark, where glitter is terrifying and unicorns and sparkly fairies are the stuff of day-mares.

Amelia and her best friends Florence the yeti (NOT a beast!) and Grimaldi the reaper may want to spend their time watching Deathflix at Fang Mansion, munching on Unlucky Arms cereal or toe-jam on toast, but they can’t help falling into the most gripping and ghoulish adventures. Whether it is saving Squashy from spoiled Prince Tangine, travelling to the petrifying Kingdom of Light to rescue Queen Fairyweather or finding the ancient yeti treasure in Yeti Mountain, the friends’ adventures are always howlingly hilarious and fang-tastically exciting.

The Amelia Fang books are written and illustrated by Laura Ellen Andersen, the illustrator of Witch Wars and creator of Evil Emperor Penguin. Laura describes Amelia as a modern-day Wednesday Addams from the Addams Family. The fun illustrations and lovable characters in Amelia Fang, make this series is perfect for readers 7+, especialy fans of The Worst WitchWitch Wars or Isadora Moon.

We love the charming and funny illustrations, ghoulish puns and jokes and the wonderfully inventive magical creatures from mischievous caticorns to unicorn lords and terrifying angel-kittens. And the gripping adventures will help keep your attention too!

You can read the series in any order, but we recommend starting with book 1 Amelia Fang and the Barbaric BallThe new book (book 6) in the Amelia Fang series, Amelia Fang and the Naughty Caticorns is out in February 2020 and there is even a World Book Day special for 2020 Amelia Fang and the Bookworm.
