This book STINKS . . . of monsters! A hilariously funny debut, perfect for fans of Pamela Butchart and David Solomons. When Alice is sent to stay with her Uncle Magnus, she soon realises that his job agency isn't quite ... normal. It helps monsters find work that makes the most of their unique talons - er, talents . Alice is shocked to discover that monsters are EVERYWHERE. There's even a Cyclops working in the castle as a pastry chef! But when he suddenly disappears, Alice smells something fishy. Can she and her uncle sniff out the missing monster before it's too late?

I did enjoy this book very much. It was fun to read about the different creatures and the story about them and the lady who was there to find out what was going on. I have told my friends about this and told them the story is fun too. Some parts did make me laugh.

I had never read a book by this Author before but I absolutely loved it. It was really really funny and was jam packed full of illustrations. The monster facts were my favourite part of the book because they reminded be of Top Trumps cards. I read this to my Dad at bedtime and even he found this book really funny. The story makes you feel like your inside it because there are so many interesting details about the monsters. I loved this book so much I took it in to school to do a book review on it for Literacy.

We loved this book. Bailey can be heard laughing his socks off whilst reading in bed!!! ( he is a very reluctant reader) Its fast paced with wacky humour. I loved the monstors had their own social network. The underlying (subtle) message is acceptance. Cant wait to read the following books in the series.
