Samuel loves tractors and other vehicles so when I saw this at the library I had to take it out - I'm so glad I did! It was sturdy so he could look at it himself when it was on the floor but also interesting enough for me to read to him with plenty of funny sounds that could be made when imitating the vehicles. The book is about various working vehicles and is a guessing game with written clues and a peep of what is on the next page to help. Of course he was too young to understand this but just enjoyed sticking his hand in the hole to try and turn the page himself. Another great thing about this book is that it uses real life images instead of cartoons or drawings. I really liked this as it helped solidify knowledge that Samuel had gained in the real world ie. seeing tractors on roads or at farms so it was nice to see his recognition of some vehicles. Highly recommended.
