I enjoyed reading fantastic Mr fox. I finished the book in a couple of days because I couldn't put it down. I liked how clever he was and how he could find a resolution to problems they faced. My favourite part was when he called his child a little twerk as I found it very funny.

I loved this book because of how a pack of foxes can fend and feed themselves even though 3 horrible men stand in there. When the men shoot Mr Fox, all of the animals join alliances. All the characters are cunning and sly. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes adventures.

An absolute cracker of a book and worth reading in one sitting as so very exciting. Another of Dahl's fabulous parables of the dangers of greed and mean spiritedness, Bunce, Boggis and Bean are truly horrible creations. Meanwhile Mr Fox and his animal friends are clever, compassionate fellows who my five year old twin girls were rooting for from the start. Quentin Blake's illustrations are, as always, a wonderful accompaniment to a first class story.

A classic Ronald Dahl book, my son loves this tale of a wiley fox who attempts to outwit three rich and mean farmers. The farmers tire of Mr Fox stealing their food, and decide to join forces to put an end to his ways. What ensues is an escalation of what each side is prepared to do to the other. A real page turner that will have your child (and you!) hoping that the fox will win....

I like the bit where Boggis, Bunce and Bean got angry because the fox wasn't dead yet.

We read the larger addition with colour pictures which made it even better for a younger reader. My daughter really enjoyed this once we got past the worrying start of the book when the farmers are shooting at Mr Fox. One of my favourite Roald Dahl stories, we are hunting out some others that my daughter will enjoy next.

This book is another classic by Roald Dahl. The story is mr fox’s Battle against three mean farmers. It takes you a journey of how he is cunning and outwits them. An original well written piece as always.

I liked the book because it had rhyming in it like 'Boggis, Bunce and Bean - one fat, one short, one lean.'   I thought the fox was really talented and he was my favourite character. I liked the whole family of foxes. I would recommend this book children who are a bit older than me as some of the story was quite hard to understand.

It's a nice book about how the Fox outsmarts three farmers. This is my first actual Roald Dahl book I'm reading, instead of just watching movies... And in terms of size, amount of illustrations, it's a great book to read to my son (5 years old). The chapters aren't long, various illustrations and nice fonts for him to follow some parts of the text. He enjoyed it, but I can say that we've had chapter books that excited him even more than this one. We'll try and read another couple of Roald Dahl books, but being quite sincere it has disappointed me a bit, given how much he's been talked about and my son usually wants me not to stop reading, while with this book, we didn't read as much each night as I imagined would happen... It's a nice adventurous story to read, there is always something happening in the story, but I just don't think it will be one of our favourites.
