Now a full-time writer and illustrator, Martin has previously spent time as a graphic designer and a lecturer.

For Orchard he has written two Red Apples, Aftershock and Hurricane, as well as The Orchard Book of Swords, Sorcerers and Superheroes. He lives in Kent.
