Topsy and Tim are always finding fun adventures in the real world, and this story is reassuring for young children having first experiences of their own. Going to the swimming pool for the first time can be daunting but Topsy and Tim are having fun! Follow the twins on their adventures as they have lessons, learn to swim without their armbands and take part in a swimming competition. A trusted and well-loved pair who can help guide parents and children through 'first experiences', Topsy and Tim books have been beautifully updated with contemporary artwork. Topsy & Tim remain instantly recognisable to parents while in a fresh style that will appeal to a new generation of fans. Re-launching in April 2008 with the bestselling titles Learning to Swim, The New Baby, Start School, Go on an Aeroplane, Go Green and Have a Birthday Party these wonderful books deserve a place on the bookshelves of the next generation.

We love these books and bought them as a set for our daughters fifth birthday,
This is a lovely story about the twins learning to swim and talks through what happens at a lesson and a swimming competition. It's encouraging and good for children learning to swim

I was given this by a friend as she knew my daughter Loves Topsy and Tim. This book is all about Topsy and Tim going swimming, my daughter could relate as she loves swimming and she is starting lessons soon, where she will be in the water without me. She really enjoys this book, I have read it to her so many times, she doesn't get bored of it. Its a lovely book, and my daughter enjoyed the pictures. It was a nice read, and would be a great book to read to little ones who may be going swimming for the first time or having lessons for the first time.

A must have. Over the years these books have been the basis of discussion with our children. Topsy and Tim learn to swim is one which we can relate to. It is full of advice to help the twins swim which can be practical advice too.
