A fantasticafantastically whimsical story about 10 little princesses who are off to the ball. Mishaps occur to all of them along the way which incorporate different fairy tale themes.
My daughter loves to count the princesses on each page and tell me how many will be next. We have read this book for a few years now and she still shouts "yay" at the end along with the story.
We now have several other titles in this series on our wish list.

A lovely rhyming story about ten little princesses who are going to a ball, but one by one they slowly succumb to different fairytale troubles... until a fairy god mother arrives to save the day! A fairly simple story, great for early readers!

This completes our set of these really fab counting, number, rhyming books...

Lo was slightly resistant to it sadly because i think he thought it was a bit girly...but we all really enjoyed it, just like we do all of the others...plenty of fairy tale spotting, baddies, great illustrations, fun joining in...wonderful for the reader to really get into whilst reading aloud!

Another book I wish we had read sooner...I look forward to our next time...

Wonderful & educational, this book helps with numbers while telling about the adventures of Ten Little Princesses. Lovely references to other Princess filled fairy tales. Maybe not for boys, but there is Ten Little Pirates.

My daughter loved 10 little pirates, and now this has also become a firm favourite. She picks it up at the library often.
