Ah yes, here we go again! As many of us take up the mantle of homeschooling alongside daily life and work, we have been working hard at Toppsta to make things a little bit easier for you, gathering together as many resources as we can to help keep the kids busy at home.

Picture books can be used right the way through primary and beyond. They're a great way to spark imagination, cover complex issues in an accessible way and encourage reluctant readers.

Early readers are a key stage in a reader's journey. There are some fantastic full-colour, two-tone and black and white illustrated readers and chapter books.

As readers become more confident, they might be ready to try slightly longer titles, though illustrations still remain important and it's key not to push readers on too quickly. And whatever you do, don't stop reading picture books!

Middle grade fiction is booming at the moment, particularly if your child enjoys magic, fantasy and adventure. However, we also have a selection of books which tackle body image issues, historical fiction and reference to satisfy a wide range of readers.
