Mango & Bambang: The Not-a-Pig (Book One)
Author: Polly Faber Illustrator: Clara Vulliamy
After winning another book from this series, my daughter insisted we went out to buy another! A lovely story about a little girl called mango and her little friend/pet called Bambang, a loyal tapir! Lovely stories and illustrations, and although not the usual sort of.book either of us would normally choose, I'd definitely recommend it!

The Twits
Author: Roald Dahl Illustrator: Quentin Blake
A wonderful classic, very much enjoyed by my little girl! She loves the story, and found it hilarious, especially all the silly words and names. A must read for any child!

Mango & Bambang: Tiny Tapir Trouble (Book Three)
Author: Polly Faber Illustrator: Clara Vulliamy
This is a very different story, about a little girl called mango and her friend/pet - a tapir called Bambang. My daughter loved the story where Bambangs mischievous little cousin Guntur came to stay, although she found it quite emotional! She is almost 6 and was able to read it aloud to me, and we both enjoyed it..

The Scarecrows' Wedding
Author: Julia Donaldson Illustrator: Axel Scheffler
A lovely rhyming book about scarecrows on a farm who fall in love and start planning 'the best wedding yet'! It's full of nice pictures and easy to follow. My children are almost 4 and 6 and both love the book!
