I bought this for my  niece at Christmas, something for her to grow into, and her Mum to read to her from. She has been wrapped up in it ever since. The thematic sections work wonderfully, the stories are in sensible sized sections for bedtime reading, and Quentin Blake's drawings are as appealing as ever to little people. A great price too for a chunky, glossy volume of writing which will stand years of frequent reading

This book is fantaatic. All the roald dahl stories are amazing and entertaining especially the revolting rhymes. I can read them over and iver. I had this book as a kid and bought it again recently for my children who love it as much as me. I'd recommend this to any little roald dahl fan or family. Plenty of good reads for bedtime.

I LOVE this book! I remember Ronald Dahl with enormous fondness from my own childhood so I'm already leaping at the chance to share his wonderful imagination with my own children. It's a superb introduction to the characters, poems and rhymes that made him one of the best-loved names in children's stories.

There is a quite a lot that my children don't have the attention to sit and listen to just yet but there are some excellent "nursery rhymes" that they love and we will sit together and look through it at all of the illustrations. They particularly love The Giraffe and the pelly and means will listen to a good chunk of this story thanks to the lovely pictures.

This book will come into it's own as my children grow; until then I will enjoy it myself and carry on reading what they will listen to!

Excellent book for Ronald Dahl lovers. I have several of his books, great for children and adults. Also I have books about his life and this book compliments them. The Little Bookworm ensured it was very well packaged. Excellent service.
