Shades 2.0 Complete Collection contains 46 reading books in the Shades 2.0, Sharp Shades 2.0 and Shades Shorts 2.0 series. The Shades 2.0 books offer fast-paced, shorter stories (just 64pp each) for older readers who may find longer books too daunting, but who still want the excitement of a great story told with pace and style. The Sharp Shades stories include simpler language, a larger font and are illustrated throughout. Shades Shorts contains four themed books with each book featuring four short stories.
Shades 2.0 is ideal for reluctant readers aged 12+ with a reading age of 9 - 10 and includes well known authors such as Gillian Phillip, Malcom Rose, David and Helen Orme, John Townsend and Mary Chapman. The stories encompass a range of genres such as horror, science fiction, historical fiction and straight modern teen tales. (These titles are all Ransom republications of titles from the original Shades Series. The pack does not include the new Ransom Fresh Shades titles, which are more recent titles published in their original form by Ransom).
