Created with expert advice from a literacy consultant, Let's Read! What the ladybird Heard is intended to help and encourage children who are growing in reading confidence. The farmyard is a very noisy place. But when two robbers plot to steal the farmer's fine prize cow, it's the quietest creature of all who saves the day! I read this book to my son and daughter both adore animals so this was right up their street. They loved the rhyming and the storyline had them gasping and laughing in all the right places.

Both children loved that there was glitter on each of the pages and would search for it as soon as the page was turned.

I would definitely recommend this book I am now looking for the entire series.

My 6 year old son read this book to me. He found the book quite easy to read however the style of writing with a few repetitive lines encouraged him to keep reading and he was chuffed that he finished the whole book in one sitting. I found it had a lovely storyline too about all the different farm animals working together to deter the theives.  Would definitely recommend
