I love the illustrations in this book and the final double page spread is amazing, lots of tiny animals to spot - ladybirds and spiders as well as the bigger animals. I originally bought it for Tommy to help with his counting but I thought it was going to be one animal, tow animals  etc . Instead it introduces a new animal on each page ie animal number one, animal number 2 - which is a little confusing. However, LJ who is only 1 loves it. It's sturdy and visually pleasing.
