We really like the Zoe and Beans series, especially this one! It's a simple story of a girl (Zoe) and boy (Oscar) playing dress up, accompanied by Zoe's long-suffering dog, Beans. I loved how inventive and playful they were with their costumes, and how they didn't conform to stereotypes about what boys and girls like to dress up as - they even swap their regular clothes at the end! A lovely book featuring a boy-girl friendship and lots of imagination!

I had never heard or seen these books before antill i picked a copy up from a bootsale. I likes the pictures and the stroy of two friends and the dog playing dress up. After reading this just a few times to my daughter she remember parts of the book and when she got to the parts, she was able to say them. It is a fun book and i would be happy to read more of the storys from this collection. It was nice to see a book that shows child that they can be what they want to be and the fun behind it.
