Tom Fletcher BiographyTom Fletcher made his name as a member of the band McFly, before starting a career as an author in 2012.
He co-wrote his first children's book,
The Dinosaur That Pooped Christmas, with band-mate Dougie Poynter, which went on to sell over 72,000 copies, becoming the most popular debut children's novel of that year. His first solo novel,
The Christmasaurus, was published in 2016. The Christmasaurus book has since been adapted into a musical and optioned for an animated film.
He has now published books for a variety of ages, from board books for the very young like
The Dinosaur that Pooped Daddy, to
The Creakers for ages 8+. He works hard to promote children's literacy and has been part of World Book Day with the
Brain Freeze book in 2018
As well as writing, Tom continues to be a singer-songwriter and guitarist.
