    Claire Freedman Biography
Claire grew up in Pinner in Middlesex. She now lives on the Essex coast, just a very short walk away from the estuary, with her husband Michael. She has just moved into a new house, which will be her final home as moving is such an upheaval!

The very first book that she published was called Tiggy Tiger, Brave Explorer. It was a picture book about a little tiger practicing his roar and finding out that even if his growl isn't big enough to scare away a grumpy rhino - his mother's roar is! She is perhaps best known for the Alien Love Underpants books which are illustrated by Ben Cort.

Claire has several picture books that are being released in 2017. One is about what to do if you find a Yeti under your bed, and another is about a spider who wants to be liked!

Claire is also writing a new book in the Underpants series - Ye Olde Knights and Dragons Love Underpants!

    Claire Freedman Facts
Claire loves being creative. She likes making things for her home and also likes fashion. Claire used to make her own clothes but doesn't have the time anymore. She also finds baking cakes very relaxing (and enjoys eating them afterwards!)
Reading and walking in the countryside and by the seaside are more of Claire's passions.
In shops, Claire only has to look at an item of clothing and it falls off the hanger!
