The LEGO (R) MOVIE 2 (TM): The Awesomest, Most Amazing, Most Epic Movie Guide in the Universe!
Author: Helen Murray
This book was a hit with all 3 of my children who’s ages range from 3-8. The bold colours and brilliant illustrations really captured there imagination and the book is the perfect companion to the movie.
It was great getting to know all the characters and their vehicles  both old and new.
The book is picked up daily by all my children who flick to their individual favourite bits.
Everyone who comes round are talked into having a go on the quiz to decide which Lego space adventurer they are (I’m Emmet).
I’d recommend this book to any Lego fan as it’s full of fun facts, activities and ideas.

A Very Corgi Christmas
Author: Sam Hay Illustrator: Loretta Schauer
A very Corgi Christmas appealed to all 3 of my children, they loved the dog theme and my older two had fun spotting the London landmarks littered throughout the beautiful illustrations in the book.
Belle the Corgi lives in Buckingham palace, she loves Christmas and goes on a trip around London.
It’s a lovely light hearted festive story, it has plenty of pictures to discuss with younger children and has simple enough wording for emerging readers to tackle themselves.

I'm Starting School: First Day: Wipe-clean book with pen
Author: Pat-a-Cake Illustrator: Becky Down
This is a lovely book to introduce children to the routines of school and some of the first things they learn at school such as colours and shapes. My 3 year old is starting nursery next week so we sat and did the activities together and he really enjoyed it, he had a go at tracing the words and was happy using the tick boxes.
It is probably more suited to reception age children than nursery age but I feel we will use this book throughout this year in preparation for the move to reception next year.
The book is really useable, it has simple instructions, colourful pictures and uses good sized text throughout, all on wipe clean pages that comes with a wipeable pen with an eraser.

100 Dogs
Author: Michael Whaite
We all loved this charming rhyming story about dogs. My boys are dog crazy at the minute and loved looking at all the colourful illustrations as I read the story to them.
We felt it was fun and simple, perfect for snuggling up together and having a giggle.
