This is a really nice hardback book with a lovely textured cover. It is about the importance of having your own space sometimes but also learning to be around other people. A bunny rabbit has a large number of friends and family and they are all playing but it is too noisy for the bunny to read his book. He just can't concentrate and so tells everyone to 'shush' and even to go away and not be in his space. After he has read his book he starts to feel like he is missing out on everything else. Perhaps he doesn't want to be on his own anymore. There are very few words in the book but a lot of very lovely and very detailed pictures. This gives an opportunity to discuss the book with younger listeners and ask them what they think is going on in the story. We really enjoyed this book and the moral of the story. We definitely recommend it.

Lovely simple story about a bunny who wants to read his book in peace and needs a little space and quiet away from his bunny friends and family's. The book has a lovely hard cover and is full of lovely illustrations. Was a great book to open up conversations with my boys about personal space and respecting others when they need some space of their own l.

This is a sweet little book about a bunny that wants his own space and some peace and quiet to read his book. He soon becomes tempted by the noises and smells of the other rabbits having fun so he decides to share his space. Lovely story and great illustrations.

This is amazing this book because my 3 year old struggles in large crowds of people so was great to read with him and talk to him after about busy and hectic places that can't always be avoided and was helpful the storyline in places to help talk about people's very own spaces :)
Highly recommended for similar toddlers and toddlers who struggle with busy crowds and all round amazing book with lovely pictures.great story and hardback so will last along time.
Would also make a ideal gift :)

Firstly, the book is a nice, sturdy hard- back book; I was impressed with the quality of the paper . It would be a beautiful gift. The illustrations are cute and quirky with lots of bunnies all shapes and sizes.
The story is heart-warming about a little bunny who wants his own space but when he gets it he quickly realises that he misses his family and friends.  So, he decides that he will share his space and some of the time he will keep a little bit just for himself.  A beautiful story about sometimes sharing your space is a good thing as we can get lonely on our own sometimes.
I would definitely recommend this book.

I'm not sold on this book. I've only read it once and very quickly.y first thoughts were that it wasn't setting a good example about sharing space and toys. After reading other reviews I have reinterpretated the story as showing that sometimes you need your own space and that it can be hard to express that to others. By the end of the story the bunny realised that he/she likes to have some alone time but also that sharing the space and toys is fun too. I can't say I would have brought the book but it is a nice story when you read it slowly and take the time to explain what is happening and why

My daughter and I loved this book. Bunny just wants some space of his own, but realised that sometimes it's good to let people in a little bit too!

Lovely hardback book and beautiful illustrations. My four year old said she didn't really like the book. She loved the rabbit but felt the rabbit was always shouting and why could he not just find a space. The book did give us the opportunity to discuss space and how we share it. She will be soon moving home and sharing with her baby sister so she was happy to talk about their space, their bedroom and how she would have a little bit of the room just for her.

It's not the favourite book of my daughter. She came to me and she told me she doesn't like it. I've asked why and she said that she doesn't like the illustrations and doesn't understand why the rabbit wants the space just for him. I had 3 brothers and I do understand why but maybe I'm just more introvertic than my daughter. Personally I like the concept of the book - it just doesn't appeal to my younger daughter.

The pictures in this book are very sweet, the bunny came across as been very angry and you had to use the pictures quite a bit to follow what was happening, i dont like the story that much but i like the pictures.

I had originally planned to read this book to a nursery book club I am involved with - however after reading the book to my own kids I decided against it.  I understand the idea behind the book the rabbit appears rude and unkind, not the kind of behaviour I want to encourage in my kids.  My own children enjoyed the book but did ask why the rabbit was so grumpy.  We tried to have a discussion about personal space, but not sure this book helped.  Gorgeous illustrations though.
