David Tazzyman Biography
David Tazzyman is an illustrator of many children's books including the popular Mr Gum series and Agatha Parrot series. His first picture book Eleanor's Eyebrows was published in June 2013. David has won many awards for his work including the Red House Children's Book Award, Blue Peter Book Award and Roald Dahl Funny Prize Award. 

David grew up in Leicester before studying illustration at Manchester Metropolitan University. He then travelled around Asia for three years before moving to London. He quickly found work as a commercial illustrator working for numerous big brands, magazines and newspapers. His first foray into children's illustration was in 2006 with the Mr Gum series.
