Renowned illustrator, Steven Lenton, winner of Waterstones Picture Book of the Month and the Times Children's Book of the Week, is about to make all your bookish wishes come true with this magical and fun early chapter book series for ages 5+ about a genie and a puppy! 

In genie stories, you rub a magical lamp out out comes a wish-granting magical genie! But in this story ... a cracked teapot will have to do, sorry! Grant the Genie is not the most popular of genies. He's been cast out of Genie World and is now on Earth without a lamp to call home.

Grant is terribly lonely, but one day a lovely little puppy called Teeny comes along, and Grant is in for a magically fun adventure, which will involve BEING KIDNAPPED and ESCAPING from the evil purple-loving Lavinia Lavender!

And this is just the first of many adventure Grant and Teeny are yet to have! In book 2, Grant makes a school bully's wishes come true, which then results in Grant and Teeny have to run away from an angry crocodile! In book 3, when Grant gets homesick, Teeny cooks up a plan, but of course no plan runs smoothly when Teeny and Grant are involved! 

Book 4 will see Grant finally return to his hometown, Wishaluzia, but Genie and Teeny can't be apart too long...

This is the perfect early chapter book for fans of humorous fiction, from Grimwood and Roald Dahl to Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Captain Pug! And what makes this series just so special is its core message of friendship.
