Adventures on Trains is a fantastic middle-grade mystery series, from bestselling authors M.G. Leonard and Sam Sedgman, with beautiful illustrations by Elisa Paganelli. 

The first book in the Adventures on Trains series - The Highland Falcon Thief - was published in 2020 and went on to win multiple awards including Book of the Year at the British Book Awards.

Each book is a breathless train journey with a mystery to solve - full of deceptions, puzzles and clues. Harrison Beck and his Uncle Nat’s adventures on steam trains all over the world are perfect for mystery-lovers and fans of Murder Most Unladylike, Malmander and Pages & Co. or anyone who loves stories about trains.

Hugely popular with our reviewers, the Adventures on Trains books can be read as standalones, but if you would like to read them in order, start with book one The Highland Falcon Thief. 

The latest book in the railway detectives series is Sabotage on the Solar Express, with book six The Arctic Railway Assassin, set for release in October 2022.
