Imagine living in a world where love is considered a disease. In the dystopian world of the young adult Delirium Trilogy, love is called Amor Deliria Nervosa, and at 18 everyone can cure it with a simple procedure.

The books follow protagonist Lena, who meets a young man called Alex just as she's about to have her procedure. He refuses the procedure, and shows her what life has to offer beyond their home, introducing her to a place where people can love freely, the Wilds. As Lena becomes more and more aware of the dangers of her home, she realises she must resist and join the rebellion, defeating the powers at the city and the damaging beliefs they are feeding the population. All the while, a love triangle forms, friendships are deepened and Lena, a young teenage girl, grows into herself. This is a brilliant coming of age story with battles and love for all romantasy lovers looking for their next obsession.

This is a fantastic read for fans of PowerlessShatter Me and ACOTAR, with elements from The Hunger Games and the Twilight Saga.
