This is a very exciting book where Alex Rider goes on his 2nd mission to a finishing school to solve a mystery. It is action packed, exciting and at times I didn't think Alex would survive. Even mum didn't want to stop reading it to me!!

Well what can i say about this book?! I was a little dubious about reading it when it arrived as it really isn't a book i would pick off the shelf by choice based on the blurb but i would have sorely missed out because it was genuinely awesome!!

This book follows Alex on his second mission and what a mission, there are so many twists and turns to keep you thoroughly engaged that i just kept reading it! I kept saying "Just one more chapter" but found that i couldn't stop reading it until i found out what Alex had got himself mixed up in!

A fantastic read, kept me enthralled throughout and i WILL be getting more books in the series!

I think this book is even better than James Bond, and is certainly even better than the first book. The spy gadgets are way cooler, and whilst the plot was more complex in parts than the first book, I think this just added to the brilliant story line, more depth and enjoyment.

Having enjoyed the first in the series it was good to read this the second book in the Alex Rider series. My son loved reading how the character of Alex is continued with plenty of action. My son is enjoying these as much as the young bond books and they have plenty to keep him interested as they are fast moving and full of things I think he wishes he could do!

I read the first Alex Rider book, and was hooked instantly. When i found this one, I was overjoyed. I loved this book even more than the first one. i found it really interesting how Alex has to pretend to be someone else. Also, he isn't trusted by Alan Blunt, and that creates a lot of suspension.

I love all of the Alex Rider books, I originally read the series about a year ago and just re-read them during the summer and Point Blanc is definitely my favourite one. They are high octane, fast paced and exciting books... the characters are developed well in this story and it makes you want to read the next book as soon as you can get hold of it!

My mum and I read this together. I couldn't wait to start reading . I hadn't read the first book but that didn't stop me getting to know Alex and I realised what an amazing spy he is. The twists and turns were really good, I couldn't wait to read more. My mum enjoyed reading this with me too and we have zoomed through this quickly. I am going to read this again on my own as I found the book exciting . There are lots of cliff hangers and at some points I wasn't sure if Alex would make it.
Thank you for this giveaway. Ive already asked my mum for the first book in this series.

Wow, Wow, Wow! An action packed book of excitement and adventure. Alex Rider has to be one of my favourite characters. He is brave, clever and uses lots of cool gadgets.
The book Point Blanc was about a teenager spy called Alex Rider who gets sent to learn more of two mysterious deaths of billionaires. When he is in the middle of the investigation he gets kidnapped and has to escape an evil plot to rule the world. I loved this book, I have read Storm Breaker (Book 1) and was so happy to be reading this latest adventure. I can't wait to read more....

Brilliant book as good as the other Alex Rider books I have read. Full of action and everything you would think a spy did.

It doesn't matter what order you read the series in but you should read them.

I love this book because it's so thrilling and exciting and you really don't know what could come next! I thought the set-up was amazing and the characters were so interesting and when you're reading the book you feel like you're Alex Rider (the main character). I really enjoyed the book and can't wait to read the other novels!

Alex goes on a mission to a remote academy at the top of a mountain. He has to pretend to be a boy that has been expelled from other schools and I loved the hidden identity theme all the way through the book. The reader knows why Alex is there and the shocking truth he has to find out but it takes the criminals longer to uncover his mission and real purpose.

There were some great scenes in this book - especially his escape down the mountain. I loved the suspense and was nervous in some bits hoping he wouldn’t be discovered and killed. I’d definitely recommend this book.
