I enjoyed this book because the little puff balls were very cute. This book was fill of mischief, adventure and mayhem.  My favourite character is Emily because her tail looks cool and she likes to help.  My favourite monster is the Candyfloss monster because he's huge and pink.

I have been reading this book every night before I go to sleep and I've really enjoyed it. My mum always takes me to our local travelling annual fair which I love attending so this book was perfect for me. I would have liked the pictures inside to have had abit more colour like the bright covers of the book, they helped tell the story more. I'd love to read more books by this author in the future.

This is such a fun and magical book. Emily lives on Funfair Moon. She absolutely loves to help out Jinks and O'Hare with all their funfair repairs. There are some amazing rides including a Space Twizzler (a giant helter skelter) which when it has a 'gravity inversion' turns into a backwards slide. One day when Emily hears that an inspector is coming to check the Funfair she races to tell Jinks and O'Hare but can they fix all the rides before the inspector arrives. This book has some wonderful illustrations in black and white with shades of grey and orange. It also has a fantastically colourful cover. We loved all the amazing names as well such as Mr Moonbottom and Miss Weebly. It's definitely a book to spark imaginations. Fantastic and fun.

This is a fantastic insight into the world behind the Funfair parks. The book tells the story of a girl who lives in Funfair moon and she tries to save it from closure. Emily has really captivating character and everyone will fall in love with her! She's adventures, curious and really loves all the creatures living on this planet!
It's a nice quality, well presented story, which will appeal to children who enjoy roller coasters, scary ghost trains and delicious candyfloss. With it's lovely illustrations and easy to read text, this book won't disappoint any children!
It is perfect for those just starting to read chapter books, with plenty of illustrations giving clues to the text, as well as providing an additional humorous element.
The book itself is really well published. It's mentioned that the paper used for production is natural, recyclable product made from wood grown in sustainable forests. Five stars for that!!

We really enjoyed this book, especially as me and my husband used to work at a theme park! I read it to my little girl Emily(5) - who listened every night waiting to see what happened next.  Her favorite character was Emily of course and she looked forward to bedtimes! The story was enjoyable and kept the attention of a 5 year old.  The words were lovely and descriptive helping to expand vocabulary as well as create a fantastic image enlightening Emily's imagination! There are also illustrations which add to the story - Emily enjoyed looking at the pictures and even drew some of her own!

I read this to my daughter and we have really enjoyed it together. The cover is really colourful and eye-catching and the illustrations throughout really helped to hold attention all the way through.
For a family who enjoy theme parks and funfairs, this was a great story, full of mischief, adventure and great characters. The names of the characters are funny, unusual and unique and created many talking points - often in the morning having, as my daughter informed me, 'dreamt of the funfair all night'.
This is a great story and we are looking forward to reading others by the authors.

we read this book again last week, and really enjoyed it, I think being a bit older helped Anna  understand the storyline and not get so frightened of the spooky bits! Great to read out loud, especially Mr Moonbottom's inspector voice

This book is great fun - really imaginative with warm, friendly characters. Things go wrong, in hilarious ways, and whilst there is a threat that the Funfair will be closed down, it isn't scary - you just know that Emily and co will save the day. We loved having so many illustrations to enjoy and we would also like a puffball as a pet.  The only negative was that some of the sentences seem quite long/ convoluted when reading out loud, as if they had tried overly hard to make it a bit quirky. However, saying that, my son's verdict (5 years old) was 'Awesome!'.

Jinks & O'Hare Funfair Repair is a funny book about two aliens (Mr. Jinks and  Mr. O'Hare) and a human (Emily) who live on the universe's greatest theme park - Funfair Moon. Unfortunately, just as an inspector comes to, well, inspect it, strange creatures called Rustlers disrupt and damage rides, and Emily has to fix them all before the inspector shuts Funfair Moon down forever. It's very funny and has a very good ending in my opinion.

I really enjoyed reading this book, it was fun, thanks. Most of the characters were nice but one was mean. My favourite part was the ending as it was good.

Emily lives on Funfair moon and is called in to help the repairers fix problems with the funfair. Its a really unusual setting for a story, lots of interesting characters and story lines, with illustrations throughout. Maybe better suited to a slightly older child but we enjoyed reading it

This was a challenging read for my 6-year-old and it's taken him quite a long time to finish it but he did enjoy it. He loved the setting and that it was a bit silly and off the wall, with lots of different things happening.

It’s a pretty good story about a girl who lives in a funfair in space. We could work out the mystery of who was making trouble at the funfair but I liked the originality of the characters and the idea. I really liked Jinks and O’Hare. I would like them to teach me how to fix funfairs. Ideally it would suit 6-8 year olds I think, or younger if your mum is reading it to you. Good book
