Born in Ireland in 1943, Sam McBratney has written more than 50 books for children and young adults. His best-known book, Guess How Much I Love You, was shortlisted for the 1994 Kurt Maschler Award and has sold more than 30 millions copies worldwi
Sam Usher studied illustration, graduating in 2008. His first book, Have You Seen Sassoon? was longlisted for the Greenaway Medal and shortlisted for the Red House Children's Book Award and the Waterstones Children's Book Prize.
