I really liked this book because it is really interesting. I learnt loads of things but I won't tell you because that would be spoiling it. It really does explain the world (well maybe just the football world). Learn who stole the world cup, why do shorter players dribble better and which team bought the dodo back to life.(My favourite) why do footballers need someone to clip their toenails for them. The illustrations are very funny and will make you laugh every time you open the book. I thoroughly recommend it to people who enjoy football or have read a book in this series before and liked it. I think it is aimed at people aged 7-9.

With all the fun of the world cup this year my daughter really loved this book, it was fantastic read. It wasn't a book she would normally pick so it was great opportunity for her to read something different. It has a good amount of content so it kept her going for a couple of days and was such a hit she took it into school to share with her class.
