STRICTLY PRIVATE. KEEP OUT ON PAIN OF DEATH.

I'm Tracy Beaker - have you heard of me? I'm stuck in The Dumping Ground just at the moment, but I'm sure my Mum will come and get me soon. A certain Justine-Hateful-Littlewood has stolen my best friend Louise but I don't let it get me down. I never cry. Ever. I've done a bit of screaming and stamping in my time mind you ... I like eating birthday cake. And Smarties and Big Macs with French fries and strawberry milkshakes. I also like story writing. This is a story all about me - so I know you'll enjoy it!

Includes exclusive material: In `The Backstory' you can read an interview with Jacqueline Wilson and take Nick Sharratt's drawing challenge!

This book is great and it's one of my favourite books! Tracy is dumped in a children's home and longs for her movie-star mum to come back. Tracy makes friends with Peter Ingham in the children's home (which she also calls the Dumping Ground) but she also has to put up with a certain Justine Littlewood....

This book is really good and I got into the story quickly. My favourite character is Tracy because she's bold and naughty and funny.

I love Jaqueline Wilson and my first introduction to her was Tracy Beaker.  I love the books and the TV programme.  I like reading about Tracy and her friend or enemy's like Justine littlewood.  I do get sad that Tracy just wants her mum to come and get her but she doesn't, it makes me glad I have such a good family.

This story touches on sensitive issues in a fun way. ALoT of children's stories have the perfect life... unrealistic! This was great for reading that life isn't always perfect, mums and dads aren't always together.
Tracy Beaker is a strong character, been through a lot in her life but is determined! Thus book will resonate with readers young and old alike. Love Nick Sharrat's pics throughout.

One of my all time favourite books! I grew up reading Tracy Beaker and now my children love it too. Very funny but also eye opening and provokes children to consider different situations which children can be growing up within. Tracy’s imagination is just fabulous, a very inventive story!

I used to read this book over and over. Jacqueline Wilson's books are always very imaginative yet relatable for tweens. Tracy Beaker is rebellious but you still feel sorry for her.

I like this book because it is fun to read and at the back it has a quiz to see if you remember what happened in the book.
It tells you about Tracey beakers days and her friends and family and what she gets up to.
I like it when she  gets embarrassed by her parents with old baby photos of her. It's really funny.
I like Jacqueline Wilson books and this is one of my favourites

This fantastic story is all about Tracy Beaker and her life in the Dumping Ground (a children’s home) where she is waiting to be fostered.  I liked the characters of Tracy and her enemy Justine.  Overall the story is sad but there are happy bits.  I liked the illustrations because they added to the story.
